New Life Baptist Church

Connect · Grow · Serve

At New Life Kids we want to partner with families to help kids to connect, grow, serve... and HAVE FUN!

As a church our aim is to help everyone to connect, grow, and serve; but what does that mean for kids? We know that a children's ministry must be relevant to who we serve. That's why our goal is to introduce children to God and to help them grow in their knowledge of who He is and what He's done for them. And not just know, but to put God's love into practice through service. For kids that could be as simple as visiting with elderly or bringing in canned food to stock the church food pantry.

That is where partnering with families comes into play. Our goal is to enable families to connect, grow, and serve together. In just bringing your child to church you've already enabled the connecting, but growing and serving can be family led too. Reinforcing ideas and concepts from lessons they learn on Sundays can be simple, bringing up what the lesson was while you drive to school and asking how they can show someone there God's love today. In that you help your child not just hear the word of God but do it too!

In whatever we do we want church for your children to be real, relevant, and so fun they want to come back and learn more!

What do you have for my kids?

No matter what time you choose to come on a Sunday, we have something for your kids! For babies through preschool we have classes that include a Bible lesson and activities.  For your older children (kindergarten through 6th grade) we have NLKids groups and Kid's Club Worship (K - 6th grade).

What should I expect my first time at nlkids?

Preschoolers (birth through four years old) will be checked into their classes at our preschool counter in the back foyer. Someone will be there to greet you and help you through the process. You will be given an identification bracelet so that only you can pick up your children. If you have concerns or a young baby there are pagers to let you know if you are needed at any point during the morning.

Check-in for all ages begins at 9:15 am by the southwest entrance.  If this is your first time to nlkids, you will need you to fill out a welcome card for your child so that we have the necessary information to provide good care.  Parents, or other authorized individuals, will need to initial the sign-in sheet for each child that they pick-up from Kindergarten through sixth grade.  Parents have the option to either pick their kids up after the first session, before 10:45, or to let us check them into the 11:00 session automatically

'Train up a child in the way he should go and in the end he will not depart from it.' Proverbs 22:6
